This science fiction / comedy / completely serious talk traces the history of JavaScript, and programming in general, from 1995 until 2035. The problem with most programming languages is they’re designed by language geeks, who tend to worry about things that I don’t much care for. Safety, type systems, homoiconicity, and so forth. The PHP language has been around for over 20 years and is clearly one of the most popular programming languages in the world. PHP is definitely the lingua-franca of the internet for server-side web programming .
