Now that the IBX will be fully grade-separated thanks to the All Faiths tunnel, the IBX should be built as an automated light metro. 73% of all new grade-separated rapid transit lines in 2025 were automated; the IBX should be no exception. It’s time for the MTA to commit to automation.
