Beware the Casual Polymath
We live in times of great disaggregation, and yet, seem to learn increasingly from generalists. In the past, an expert in one field of Psychology might have been forced to teach a broad survey class.
Applied Divinity Studies
If someone says “because Jesus is real, we should overthrow the US government”, they would get dismissed as a religious nut. That sounds bad, but it is strongly preferable to the alternative where they only say the second half of the sentence.
